The first two items are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies; they never leave your device. The administrator session cookie is only ever set after someone signs in to the private editing area.

Refusing and changing your mind

Refusing costs you nothing: every part of this site works with all non-essential storage switched off. You can also clear the stored choice in your browser settings, which brings the banner back on your next visit.

If we add analytics later

Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories will load before you switch that category on. When a tool is added, this table is updated with the vendor, the purpose, the retention period and whether data leaves the European Economic Area, and anyone who already refused stays refused.
